An oil study of a melanistic Jaguar. Black Jaguars – also known as Panthers – are not a subspecies, but a colour mutation (Leopards can also have this mutation). It is estimated that there are around 600 black Jaguars living in the wild currently. 50% profits from sales of prints of this painting will be donated to NATUWA Wildlife Sanctuary in Costa Rica.
